How many employees work at FMS Chennai?

We have 6 employees in our Chennai branch. Our team has a good mixture of experience, who have been in the Shipping & Forwarding Industry for several years. With recent two Sales positions, FMS Chennai is endeavoring to expand our local sales contribution.

Are there any staff events at the Chennai branch?

Yes! Every year we celebrate on Pongal / Diwali festivals and during Christmas, we have a party followed by a feast. These events are a great way to get to know each other better and strengthen our team spirit, making us one family - the FMS family.

What kind of jobs are there and what are typical tasks?

Our sea freight operational team is taking care of all import and export shipments. They are in daily exchange with our great customer. We are offering our clients the best service from A - Z in the forwarding business. Our sales team is hunting for new customers and is mainly selling Ocean and Airfreight products.

1. What is your job at FMS Chennai?

I am an Operations Executive working with FMS India since 2015 & offer a great experience to all customers who are using our services. The operations team is into multiple task handling which include A-Z of shipping. Attracting the customer might be easy, but keeping them long-term loyal and satisfied is the main point.

2. How was your professional development at FMS?

I was a Customer Service executive at a local freight forwarding company. Back then, I thought I already knew everything about shipping. But after I joined FMS, I realized that there are many things that I had never heard of before. At FMS I learned a lot about the wide range of logistics services and this helps me widen my horizon within the shipping world. I feel encouraged to think about what my future at FMS has to offer.

3. Why do you like working at FMS?

Working at FMS, I have gained immense positive experience over since 2015. This Company has a unique Culture and makes me feel so comfortable in all aspects, everyone always treats me not just as a colleague but as a friend and family member. There is no tension at work because when I walk out from my home to the office, I know that I am walking to my second home. working here is always a fulfilling experience.
