How many employees work at the branch?

There are 4 colleagues working at our Madrid branch. We are all quite new in the company, between 1 year and 1 year and a half. we would like to add one person in the team in September.

Are there any staff events at the branch?

Yes, Madrid, is well known for the afterworks. As we are a small office, it is very easy to coordinate between us. So even if we had a very bad day, or a very good one, it is very popular to go for some tapas afterwork. There is no official event "per se", the atmosphere in the office is very good and there are a very good engagement between all of us, so just need a little "excuse" to meet us afterworks.

What kind of jobs are there at the branch and what are typical tasks?

Madrid is a sales office, so we have a Branch Sales Manager, 2 sales position and a customer service. IT, Administration is centralized in the HQ.

Why is the FMS Madrid office a great place to work?

Madrid is a very beautiful and cosmopolitan city, and we have our office in one of the most beautiful part of the city. If you like football, you will love it as we are at 300 meters from Real Madrid stadium. The atmosphere in the office is very good, young people engaged as a team to be successful.

1. What is your job at FMS?

I'm the Branch Sales Manager of Madrid office. I'm in charge of the development of the office.

2. How was your professional development at/before FMS?

I start working in the shipping industry in 1997 in Evergreen Marine Corp as a sales. Since that time, I worked for some shipping lines as Senator Lines, Cosco, and a Tank Container Operator (STOLT NIELSEN). Before joined FMS in may 2017, I worked 6 years for Maersk Line.

3. What makes FMS a great employer for you?

FMS is a multinational company with still local touch. We do not lose the human approach to our customer. The board is very close to the employees and always open to hear new ideas. People is identify with the company meaning the company has the availability to represent all different styles and cultures working in the company. Employees and customers become the priorities of the company and both can feel it.
