What kind of jobs are there at FMS Mexico and what are typical tasks?

We have sectioned our areas depending the main responsibilities to follow as Commercial Development, Finance & Administration and Customer Service & Operation. Main task are being in coordination and constant communication with customers and vendors to create a satisfying customer experience that result on a final product that may add value to our customers logistics chains

1. What is your job at FMS Mexico?

I am Pricing and Procurement Manager and take care of the carrier management as well as the cooperation with suppliers. Furthermore I support the sales team in our entire South America network to always find the best offer or the best alternative.

2. How was your professional development at FMS?

I have more than 10 years’ work experience in freight and forwarding industry. I started working for a Co-loader and then I work with some companies such as DHL and Kuehne and Nagel. I had the opportunity to gain experience throughout the supply chain: customer service, sales, pricing and procurement.

Then almost 3 years ago I received the opportunity to come to FMS and since then I have been developing strategies to create stronger relations with our partners and customers.

3. What makes FMS a great employer for you?

FMS is such a great place to work, its global values make the company stable and trustworthy. Here you have the opportunity to create, make decisions and learn more. Managers trust their team and encourage them to work independently and at the same time take responsibility for their own actions. The main goal remains to keep our customer satisfied. At the end, but no less important, is the great working environment at FMS. Also FMS is always keen to train its employees to have the best team possible.
