How many employees work at the branch?

The representative office in Beijing was established in 1994 and the branch office was established in 2018 to replace the representative office there. We now have ten employees in the branch office. We are gradually growing and looking forward to more employees to join us.

Are there any staff events at the branch?

In our branch there are several interesting events for the employees. We hold birthday parties for everyone and we make our own birthday cards for our employees and write them our wishes. We hold a New Year party every year, where we play some games and make our own dumplings to celebrate the New Year. And we also organize some activities in our daily life. For example, we use our creativity to make vases from waste bottles. We also organize flower arrangements to celebrate Women's Day. We also organized a trip to Tianjin Port the other day to gain more expertise.

What kind of jobs are there at the branch and what are typical tasks?

In our office, there are an accounting team, human resources and administration team, operation team and business development team They are working closely together and supporting each other to take care of our daily business, provide excellent customer service and solve problems. We provide door to door, all transmodel service, by truck, by sea, by air, by rail. We work hard and 24/7 for customer inquiries.

1. What is your job at FMS?

I am the team leader of the operations department. My main task is to help our team become more professional and stronger to handle all kinds of cargo through all transportation models (by sea, by air, by truck, by rail). As a coordinator, I support the sales department to meet the customers' requirements, the finance department is supported to collect the payments from the customer. I implement the updated policy/SOP of the company with the support of the branch manager

2. How was your professional development at FMS?

I have been working at FMS since October 2019. It is a great opportunity to learn more about forestry cargo, BBK/RORO/E-Commerce cargo, which I had little experience before. In these 3 years, I have learned more management skills from our branch manager. Since 2022, I am the host of BJ procurement meeting and learn market price from suppliers every week. All this makes me more professional day by day.

3. Why do you like working at FMS?

If you spend a lot of time in your office, it's natural you'd want it to be as comfortable as possible. FMS Beijing did it. As a team member of FMS Beijing, you would feel it like a big family. The colleagues are kind and have all the same goal to work for. There are so many new challenges during your daily work which would help yourself to grow up.
