For weeks now, the German Red Cross has been working throughout Germany to combat the coronavirus and stem its further spread. The DRK's full-time staff and volunteers are involved in a variety of ways to support the authorities in the fight against the virus: For example, mobile doctor's offices and fever-measuring stations are being deployed and supervised by the DRK throughout Germany to strengthen the healthcare system and relieve the burden on clinics. But the care and support of the elderly and needy during the crisis are also the focus of relief efforts by the German Red Cross.

Our colleague Anna Kramp suggested this organization, which helps children in need in Hamburg and its surroundings. We visited the radio station to get to know more about the projects and talked with other donators.
