FMS is no stranger to logistics operations in China and local knowledge sets us apart from other logistics companies. Our presence has been built on nearly 20 years of experience in the country, having established our second office in Shanghai in 1999. Today, Shanghai is the headquarters of our China Corporate branches, and we recently moved to a new office location in the city.
We have 16 employees working as a family together in Shanghai office.

We have a customer service team responsible for day-to-day operations, a business development team, and a procurement manager responsible for procurement in Central & North China. The China Managing Director is also based in Shanghai.

I am a BDM in FMS Shanghai office.
I joined FMS right after my graduation from the university in 2005. This is my first job and I like it. FMS Shanghai is an experienced team which takes orders from customers for all their shipping requirements. We especially offer good service for project cargo. We do vessel chartering, break bulk and flat racks etc. It's challenging and good opportunity for a newbie to grow here. I have learned a lot of lessons and became experienced in the logistics field. FMS is also a strong team in overseas, to work as the BDM, I have focused on the China import shipments. Thanks to the support from our overseas offices. I have managed accomplish the profit target every year since the very beginning of my career, and to get some good customers on board. I am still growing with FMS and hope for a good future.
I like the atmosphere of working here. FMS provides a good working environment. My colleagues have pretty much the same educational background, so we have many hobbies and topic in common. Our manager takes care of each individual in our team and help us grow with the company. We also have excursions and the birthday dinners of everyone in our office - FMS Shanghai is like a family.
