FMS Luebeck Colleagues
How many employees work at the branch?

At the Lübeck branch we have 66 employees. Many of them have worked for Fr. Meyer´s Sohn for decades. Some even over 40 years.

Are there any staff events at the branch?

Of course there are! Each September we have a big Dragon boat race in Lübeck. There we compete against other local companies. This is also an event for the whole family and it is a lot of fun. This shows us how important it is to work as a team with a clear defined goal! Furthermore we have our annual Christmas Party with dinner and music.

What kind of jobs are there at the branch and what are typical tasks?

There are different types of jobs in our branch. We have now 35 own trucks with 41 truck drivers. We have a department that is responsible for our fleet and the national and international overland disposition. Also we have our own warehouse which needs to be managed. And then we have our car export department and our specialists for the import and distribution for pulp and lignin.

Why is the FMS Lübeck office a great place to work?

First of all the great team here in Lübeck creates a friendly and familiar working atmosphere. Asides from that we have a beautiful office with a fantastic view on the river Trave. So we see all the vessels coming and leaving the ports of Lübeck.
