My career at Fr. Meyer's Sohn

I started as an apprentice for Fr. Meyer's Sohn a while back. I was able to develop myself further through a willingness to perform, self­initiative, and high performance. Today I am the CEO for the region of Central Europe. I am proud of our culture in which everyone can contribute their strengths and work on their own individual development.

To me attention means being attentive to and helping one another. The work of each and every individual is also valued here.

Politeness, professionalism, and mutual respect both to our customers and partners as well as to co-workers and superiors is the basis for this. Good preparation and a well-groomed appearance at meetings with customers as well as at performance reviews are also an expression of our respect.
Willingness to perform
Each of us deserves a little superhero badge because we stand up for, support, and actively help our colleagues, customers, and business partners every day.

I can contribute my own ideas and even try new things sometimes. This enables me to develop myself further so I enjoy demonstrating my willingness to perform.

We will continue to be one of the largest independent sea freight forwarders in the future as well if we continue to live out and cultivate this business partnership based on expertise, fairness, trust, appreciation, respect, and friendliness.

Having fun at work is important and that’s why our employees need to get constant feedback about their contribution to the success of the company. Also they need development perspectives.
