A test lane for the automotive industry | urgent delivery

The dimensions were big, the weight was heavy, and the timing was urgent. A complete test lane had to be delivered from Germany to China exactly as scheduled.

The task:

Our customer Dürr Assembly Products GmbH from Püttlingen | Germany needed us to deliver a complete test lane in six crates, some of which were oversized, to the Ford Changang factory in Chonqqing | China using the fastest route. The crates had a height of up to 2.60 meters and a width of up to 2.20 meters. Each crate weighed just under 4,000 kg.

The solution:

Because the timing was critical, the crates were flown to China as air cargo. Fr. Meyer's Sohn collected the crates directly from Püttlingen. From Frankfurt, they were transported directly to Hong Kong, where they were then forwarded to Chonqqing. The crates already cleared customs the following day and were forwarded to the Ford Changang factory on time.

FMS project cargo
The result:

A very satisifed customer. The complete test lane was delivered to the recipient on time. All of the customer's timing instructions, from collection to final delivery, were fulfilled exactly as scheduled. Author: Andreas Petry | Business Development Manager at Fr. Meyer's Sohn
