How many employees work at the branch?

There are nine colleagues in our Swiss office.

Are there any staff events at the branch?

We have our annual Xmas dinner, which is surely one of our highlights. Since we are a small team we like to have daily lunches and little Birthday Celebrations together. There always seems to be a reason for a cake or at least some cookies. During summer time our office terrace is the perfect place to have a BBQ or a "After-Work-Beer".

What kind of jobs are there at the branch and what are typical tasks?

We mainly focus on Sea Freight, Import, Export, and X-Trades but also have an Air Freight and overland team. So we have the full range of forwarding job opportunities. A while ago our Special Project department started their businesses and had a phenomenal start with a lot of very interesting projects and oversize shipments.

Why is the FMS Zurich office a great place to work?

Our office is located right in the middle between Zurich City Center and the airport of Zurich, perfectly connected to the public transport system and highways. During good weather we even have an epic view on the Swiss Alps right from our desks.

1. What is your job at FMS Zurich?

I work at our Import Overseas Department since 5 years. Together with my 2 work-mates I take care of all kind of freight - frozen seafood to household goods.

2. How was your professional development at FMS?

Last year I had the chance to support our accounting department and it was an interesting experience. Currently we are implementing our new order management system CRUISE CONTROL® for a big retail customer and being part of this project is a challenging but exiting experience.

3. What makes FMS a great employer for you?

I really enjoy the team-spirit and the culture of the company. FMS is a social employer when it comes to personal needs and always encourages us to grow personally.
