How many employees work at the branch?

In present, our team has grown with 10 employees included Mr. Jan. This number is increased from 8 when we opened in June 2016 and we have plan to have 01 more within this year

Are there any staff events at the branch?

Yes, we have happy hour each month for the staff's birthday celebration. Sometime our branch go out together after working hour for eating, drink and sing together . It makes us more closely as family, FMS family

What kind of jobs are there at the branch and what are typical tasks?

In here we have Ocean Freight team handles all operation tasks in import & export with customer directly, we are providing to customer a best service from A - Z in forwarding business. On daily, we receive to customer's requirement, checking booking, approaching a competitive quotation, getting confirmation, processing documentation. Besides, we have two support teams in Finance & HR Admin, make sure everything working smoothly. And one more important, we have a Sale Department which Branch Manager is leading and responsible in developing business of our branch with one more BD executive

Why is the FMS HCMC office a great place to work?

Our office is located on 11th Floor of building at the city center with great view & bright. We sure that you will like our office when you are here. All members in our branch is so support together, we have a good working environment with music anywhere & friendly colleagues.

What is your job at FMS?

I'm Managing Director for Fr. Meyer's Sohn Vietnam Co., Ltd. I'm in charge of developing whole country.

How was your professional development at/before FMS?

I started to join Freight forwarding and Logistics right after university graduation with GEODIS as BD Executive for more than 06 years with various sales positions. Then later with DACHSER when they began to open Vietnam office and after that I was with CEVA Logistics before joining FMS to open Vietnam office in 2016.

What makes FMS a great employer for you?

FMS is 2nd German group that I work for with a business style of family-owned company that I really like. We're international FF with local approach where we focus on people and on what we're doing good to be the best, not biggest one.

Reorganisation of the Management Board at Fr. Meyer’s Sohn

Heiko Voigt will be appointed Managing Director at Fr. Meyer’s Sohn (GmbH & Co.) KG as of October 1st, 2019. The new Management Board will consist of him and Dominik Lucius.


PPI Transport Symposium 2019
