How many employees work in the department?
Our department consists of three different topics. We have four people working in the Corporate Process Management, two of us are in charge of the customs filing (e.g. AMS, ISF, Japan filings...) and we have one employee being in charge of the Quality Management and the creation of SOPs.
Are there any staff events in the department?
We enjoy a yearly christmas dinner with our department. Furthermore, we have a bigger team event in autumn with the colleagues from the development department. In the past we had events like team cooking, a visit at the Chocoversum (a museum for chocolate) and at the Miniaturwunderland (a museum with the largest model railway in the world).
What kind of jobs are there in the department and what are typical tasks?
We gather the requirements of the management, the different branches and the departments in regards to processes and to all our used applications. We then analyse and discuss them. In case new features are requested we are in charge of specifying the funtionalities so that they can get programmed by our developers. During the programming phases we are available for questions from the developers. We are working together with our IT-Operations, we are also the in charge of answering questions from the support-team concerning seastep as well and to make sure that all used applications are working properly toghether. Furthermore, we supervise the international cooperation and support employees with their questions regarding this.
Why is the Process Management department a great place to work?
Teamwork is the key word in this department. We always help each other out and work on projects together. Here we have the opportunity get a lot of insight in different processes and future plans of FMS. Working here enables us to help forming the company and its tools.
