How many employees work at FMS Mexico?

We are a team of 20 executives who work together to achieve the company goals. Our main goal is to be the #1 Forwarder for the Forest Product Industry on the Mexican market. We are focused on service quality trying to develop new business areas that improve the customer's productivity.

Are there any staff events at the Mexico branch?

On 01st June FMS Mexico will celebrate the 5th anniversary with a reception to thank our fantastic team and our main customers for the great support. In 2016 the German and Mexican Government celebrate the year of "Germany in Mexico "and "Mexico in Germany". FMS Mexico will participate in the conference "Made in Germany" with a booth at the Trade Center in Mexico City from 15th - 19th of June.

What kind of jobs are there at FMS Mexico and what are typical tasks?

We are a multi-disciplinary team that works together to offer a wide variety of service solutions to the Mexican market such as

  • Intermodal Cross Border Canada- USA - Mexico
  • Domestics on-carriages (Truck and Rail services)

3 Questions to Ericka Cejudo, FMS Mexico.

1. What is your job at FMS Mexico?

I am an Import Coordinator and I have the responsibility to coordinate the pre-alert documents from other FMS offices, carriers and all others partners around the world so I can notify the consignees in Mexico regarding the arrival of their shipments to. Additionally, I am in Charge of the AES manifest transmission to the Mexican authorities for all the FMS HBL shipments that FMS Mexico receives. Most of my tasks are customer service activities in order to prove that FMS is the best option for the customer's logistics necessities - keeping them happy collaborating with us.

2. How was your professional development at FMS?

I started at FMS with a 6-month intern program in which I learned the basic concepts of the logistic business, our values and company goals. I am now starting with my professional assignment within the logistics Business and I am sure I will be able to develop a long and professional career at FMS Mexico.

3. What makes FMS a great employer for you?

All the FMS Mexico colleagues are great people, who make our office an excellent place to work, learn, share experiences. We are a young branch, so we have good opportunities to keep growing and to provide a large number of areas of development.

PPI Transport Symposium 2019

Being the no.1 in international transportation of forest products, we will be once again part of this year’s „PPI Transport Symposium“. The PPI will take place in Tarragona | Spain on September 16 to 18. The must-attend event for anyone involved in the transportation, materials, handling, or distribution of pulp and paper products.
